The coaches have a lot of players who either don't or will not fit their system. So next year will be a rebuilding year anyway. Why not fix this position now, and build from their. No team builds compete through the draft. Not one team in the league has players on their team that they only drafted.

Because that is what we call in the business, the Cerrato Philosophy. It is documented as a losing philosophy resulting in the near or fatal collapse of an NFL franchise. If you use this philosophy this year for this pick you are going to keep using it. Just like a kid that tries to bribe you into doing it one more time. Aw come on, it'll just be this one time. AKA we will just use this year's pick and next year's 1st this one time. Then next time it will be the same thing. You can't keep doing that. That is the culture that got us here. And that mind frame will keep us in the cellar.
I used to be like you, but now I see the light. As I have stated in the past, we need not the Cerrato Philosophy, but the Raheem Morris philosophy. Shed almost all of your veteran dead weight, draft and pick up YOUNG free agent players and VOILA! Since I have converted I sleep a lot better and feel like a better and wiser Redskins fan... You should try it.
