As for Sanchez, I never said he was outstanding (I'm not calling him the best QB prospect of the past five years) and I'm not disregarding the talent around him. Nor would I have traded up for him (largely because we didn't have the resources to do it and build elsewhere).

All I'm saying is he's improving, he's largely not throwing away wins, he's earning the trust of his coaches and I think he'll be a solid, not spectacular, for years to come. The Jets exceeded my expectations this year. But that's mainly because I thought the Dolphins would be much better this past year and they, along with the Pats, would keep the 10-6 Jets at home this year. But it's a team headed in the right direction.
