I think he really showed some bad habits at the end of the season, once the cumulative effect of pressure and QB hits started to wear on him. Vick is comfortably better than Kolb at the current moment, but they lost to a bad Vikings team and they lost, in part, because of dreadful offense -- at the QB position. They win that game and the next one...and we're probably talking about an all-Pennsylvania SB with the Eagles owning that first round bye and such.
I don't think the Eagles expect Vick to save them from all their other team flaws, only to be the best quarterback he can be. I think the vertical passing is always going to be there and that Vick fits this offense much better than he ever fit the Atlanta offense, but I also don't think Vick is capable of playing 16-18 games or holding a starting job for 18 games in 2012. I think he just has too many bad habits for NFC DCs to prey on.
