Also the biggest knock on the supp. draft in my opinion is that the player misses out on a bunch of camps and stuff and basically gets a late start compared to all the other rookies. So if the lockout is prolonged the supplemental draft may gain parity to the regular draft since the rookies from the regular draft may not get a head start or may have a shortened head start. Does anyone know the rules on the allowed contact between teams and new rookies? This year could end up sucking for rookie development.
