Those "unpopular positions" are what will save those programs long-term and the American people (I'm praying) are smart enough to realize that and not buy into the left's BS of raising taxes and continuing to feed the beast with no major spending reductions or fixes to unsustainable social programs.

I wasn't going to post these, but you folks on the left need to wake up to the fact that we have real financial problems in this country (didn't you see the S&P rating) and you're side is making them terribly worse with your lack of fiscal discipline:

Chart Book Graphically Illustrates Nation’s Financial Condition | The Heritage Foundation

I haven't had the chance to read these in detail but first glance paints a pretty bad picture.
I love how the left somehow created this monster. laughable. the right is just as or more responsible for the current issue by far. Tax cuts are correct in most areas, but the upper tier trickle down tax cut needs to come off the board. Remember, that is not a new tax cut, it hasnt worked since its been implemented in the Bush era, keeping that mega expensive tax cut will not help and its been proven now. Corporate tax needs to come down by 10-15%. Pentagon's budget is outta control, cut that by 5-10%, its ridiculous. Why the hell wont the Right talk about that? Thats the real effing beast and a complete hypocracy by the right. Rand Paul is the only one with balls on that side to bring it up. Medicare and Medicade cuts and adjustments are needed too. The same ole bs right rhetoric of tax cuts and less spending means zero if you dont say specifics at this point.
