John Beck is the only QB Shanny can discuss right now. Rex has no contract, he didn't draft a QB & he is not going to discuss any free agent QB's from other teams. But remember that in the final two games The Shanahans were evaluating Beck as to the way he handled the role of being the #2 QB - - meaning the way he stood on the sideline with his helmet close by instead of standing on the sideline with his helmet in the equipment manager's cart.

Who knows, he may have been outstanding in that role and shown that he can take the next step up the ladder.
