Jason Reid in this particular article does not seem to hold out much hope for Beck and [more or less] thinks a failure in Beck could spell doom for the Shanahan's. I don't agree but I'll respect his opinion.

Beck's ultimate demise in Miami is self explanatory....was doomed in Baltimore from the start mainly because Newsome was committed to Flacco and Beck had made it clear he wanted to be in a situation where he could eventually become a starter again.
