Just like you were saying Matty, the Griffin and Springs signings were questionable, and even though I wasn't on the board at the time, my current circle of friends was like "WTF, I can't believe we are signing MORE has-beens." Gibbs helped make those signings happen and it seems as though the vast majority of them have panned out. No one could predict Barrow's knee would do what it did.
I too, questioned the QB move, but it has been brought up in many posts how Gibbs is building the franchise and not just trying to "win now". I definitely agree before we have complete flipouts (offiss, you are freaking out dude
), we trust in judgement even if it IS questionable. I too, would have liked Williams, but it seems there is a rhyme and a reason to it all when all the highly intelligent minds here have posted good arguments for it.
