I didn't necessarily want Mike Williams, but you're right, we could have taken our chances with him, and still been able to draft Justin Miller, Marlin Jackson, or Brodney Poole -- all of whom were available after pick #25.
Clearly, Gibbs doesn't think very highly of Patrick Ramsey or his abilities.

Either he doesn't think highly of his abilities OR he doesn't want to give Patrick chances until the end of his own contract and leave us without a QB at all.
