I hate to say this, but I feel that the McNabb trade was a different situation. He was on his way to being washed up and was on his way out in Philly since everyone was getting enamored with Kolb. The fact that they were willing to trade him to a division rival should have been a red flag.
Orton played in a team that was beaten up and left for dead by Son of Hoody (a.k.a. McDaniels). And I think he could be a good QB for a team.
Now, I don't think Orton is worth a 2nd rounder, but I'd happily trade for him for a 3rd and a late draft pick.
