In 1985 in Manchester, CT, I saw a horrible accident.
I watched a motorcycle speed up to make a changing light at a I-84 offramp.
The light changed to red and the oncoming traffic had already started.
He hit a IROC Camaro head on and was launched at least 100 ft before landing on his head and neck.
He wasn't wearling a helmet... not that it would have helped.
It was so terrible I couldn't go to work the next day.

If he was driving a car, it would have just been a bad accident.
