According to the wire report on Hasselbeck's release (
http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/wire?...nfl&id=2053294), the Skins also released wide receiver Jason Samples, so there's still another roster spot available, even with the signing of Forsey.
My best guess would be that they signed a defensive end, though. That's the one position that hasn't been addressed this offseason, though I can't immediately think of a defensive end that's available who would be worth making a big deal about.
