Well, when we were driving back Thursday, the State of NC declared a State of Emergency for 11:00 a.m., we stopped in at our favorite German beer brewery (The Weeping Radish) at 10:55 a.m. The woman in the store said it was a good thing we got there when they did because, in NC, the sale alchohol is prohibited during a State of Emergency!

No alchohol as the hurricane rages past? Now that's a State of Emergency!
