The ESPN article was just retread from the past. There was nothing new. It is striking that no one in the Taylor camp ahs even hinted at a enw new deal. It seems like it is all speculation.

I doubt it is permittable by the CBA (that is just a guess) but even if it isn't I don't think an agent would ever let a player sign a deal like that. Hell it might even be unfair labor practice to have a deal like that for all I know. I mean that practically enslaves a guy to a team.
