Cain is smart and he got what he wanted by making those states about race, he got liberals to bite. I think this sums it up perfectly:

"Herman Cain is trying to get the GOP nomination," Smiley said. "When you're running for the nomination of a Republican Party…these are the kind of statements that you make that play to your base. It's politics."

Ill be interested to see how Cain does in the midwest and south with his rising poll numbers. Race will certainly play a part in GOP numbers in those regions. U can lock that up.
