Being a fan of Monk (as you can tell from my nickname) it just wasn't right seeing him in a green and white uniform. That was a strange situation why he left the Redskins. Never heard all of the details, he and THE SQUIRE had a falling out is all I heard. But Monk was the classy, quiet type I couldnt picture him holding out for money.........and THE SQUIRE choosing to let a loyal long time Redskin leave........anyone have the details on this.

Rice should've retired on a high note with the 49ers, now he is tainting his carrer by begging and sending notes to all 32 teams, the Broncos sign him and he has his hopes of earning a backup position. This is his 3rd team.....how sad. He needs to retire and GET A LIFE after football!!! If he doesn't want to leave the NFL then get a job as a coach, front office guy, scout etc etc........I view him now as an NFL homeless panhandler.....My views are scewed a bit because I never liked the Forty Whiners (which I will always view Rice) anyway.............
