Champ was another one - We felt we could trade him and get a RB instead of keeping a perenial probowler, future hall of fame CB. And yes Portis was a good RB for us, and I dont want to hear that he wouldn't have resigned, because you show him the money and he's a Redskin for life. Portis has been very unproductive the last 3 years, out of the NFL.

Letting Brad Johnson go - went on to win a superbowl in Tampa, for George??

Steven Davis - Played in a Superbowl with Carolina - for Trung Candidate??

Chris Clemons - although wasn't a star, he is having some solid years in Seattle. I thought he was a spot starter, good depth, but we let him go

I am sure there are others, but this organization has shown its disregard for developing young talent, then allowing them to leave or trade them away in some cases for what is perceived to be better players drafted by other teams.

Hell, Brian Mitchell is one of the best cases for this. We let him go to sign that guy from the Jets...Chad something or another. And B Mitch went on to have some solid years in Philly and NY.

THis has been a trend for a long time. And every single one of those players mentioned all said the same thing in a variety of ways.
