I have to say that I grew up listening to Frank, Sam and Sonny. We'd turn down the sound on the TV and listen to the games on WMAL. I thought it was a tragedy when WJFK fired Frank and went with Larry Michaels; it was never the same and the broadcast seemed to lose a lot of the on-air chemistry that it had with Herzog. After being overseas and coming back home several years later, it's been a real disappointment to hear that there's still no real chemistry between Michaels and Sam and Sonny and it's been almost heartbreaking to hear the state that Sam is in. Clearly, Sam needs to retire. If they could get Frank back, a team of Frank and Sonny would be great.
