I'm not sure there are any real positives on the horizon under the existing regime i.e. the risk/reward ratio just doesn't engender optimism. FO/coaching decisions at QB, and probably on offense as a whole, have been one mistake after another for two consecutive seasons, and I don't think the law of averages applies in this case to "reward" them with better luck in the third season. Fundamental errors, based on poor player/talent evaluation, do not tend to correct themselves.
On the other hand, given our draft outlook and personnel on defense especially (though probably in a version of the 4-3), we could be optimistic under a different regime and FO structure.
