As long as Rex is winning / playing good, there won't be a QB change. I know he is a turnover machine but the bottom line is this team just looks and acts different with Rex at QB. I don't think its a necessity that the rookie sits, depending on who we pick up. Newton didn't sit at all and he's a freak of nature.

I think if the FO is happy with mediocrity and thinks the rookie needs to sit and study, then yeah Rex starts next year. We won't suck, but we won't be good either and don't expect playoffs, expect another "rebuilding year". If the FO is willing to take the risk on the rookie, if all the other pieces of the puzzle are in place, then sometimes the best way to learn, is learning on the fly. The sink or swim method isn't always the worst way to go about things.
