If I were the Skins, after he was released I'd offer him as a QB with the understanding he's helping to coach and when or if he's ever healthy he could start again. I just don't think he will be healthy enough and he'd be better served as a coach not only to assist with the young guys but he'd be another young coach to side with KS down the road plus all his knowledge of plays and routes. |
If any of the reports are accurate & he's not anywhere near his old self, that is a blessing in disguise for him. He should bow out before risking anything worse.
I would think if anything, for us I guess it would be bad news if he retires Not because the Skins would go after him, it would just reduce the no. of scenarios & options league wide in the QB carousel. I'd still prefer to see him retire rather than play elsewhere or play to a lesser standard.
