After the way Law asked for more money a year ago, I don't think he fits the Gibbs' mold of a team player. I'm actually fine with our dbs even if Taylor doesn't play. Here's my analysis of our secondary without Taylor:

Free Safety: Andre Lott provides solid cover skills and good range. His tackling should continue to improve with good coaching.
Strong Safety: Matt Bowen is a fierce blitzer and hard hitter on running downs. He must improve in pass coverage. Look for Ryan Clark to replace him on third and long.
Cornerbacks: Shawn Springs is a solid cover corner who hits hard, makes interceptions, and blitzes off the edge. Walt Harris is a decent corner who will eventually be replaced by the talented (though raw) Carlos Rogers. Rogers will need time to develop, but he will eventually provide solid coverage and decent tackling as a starter.
Backup Safeties: Ryan Clark gained valuable experience last year and could challenge for playing time at both safety positions. He has good range and decent cover skills. Pierson Prioleau is slated as the backup SS, but could see limited action due to Clark's development. Nevertheless, Prioleau will contribute on special teams, and his experience in Williams' defense will allow him some playing time in dime packages.
Backup Corners: Harris is an excellent nickel corner and he will be key in grooming Garnell Wilds to replace him in the future. Ade Jimoh is a decent special teams guy, but tends to get burned in coverage. Rufus Brown, who might make the practice squad, is a prospect for the future.

Just don't let Ade Jimoh Fan see your assessment regarding him! I was thinking exactly the same thoughts. I just couldn't remember Walt Harris name.
