So while Marshall was solid, you can't say that he has the same playmaking abilities that Arrington brings to the table. Arrington is the kind of player offenses have to account for, and with Williams I'm sure he'll take full advantage of his skills.

I agree. Also, a lot of people were high on Clemens (like Marshall, another former "no name" player) as a 3rd down pass rusher, but who knows if he would have even gotten in the game had LA been healthy and able to fill that role as was expected before the injury.
The real credit has to go to Williams for knowing exactly how to make these adjustments.
