The fact that the guy ate himself off his team for a year tells me he would have still been there in the later rounds. I really hope this guy works out. With all the high round picks we traded away for Griffin we definitely needed to land a future starter with this pick. Hopefully we did that.

3rd round is not the place to put hopes on ANYONE being a sure starter. Simply because you want or need something doesn't mean you'll get it. And it was academic ineligibility.
