Lol. I like taking risks too - calculated risks. The best thing about risk taking is that sometimes you win. The bad thing is that sometimes you lose. If you lose,
what is the consequence of losing? If the consequence is too high, then you had better not go "all in" especially if the wife and kids depend on that cash. I do however think that it is a flaw not to ever take
calculated risks, especially if you can live with the consequence of losing. I am assuming that the possibility of him not being there later was too heavy a consequence for the FO but I really don't know without being there.
