Van Halen is #1 and Aerosmith, Metallica, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Eagles, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Doors, REM, and Nirvana are also leaps and bounds better rock bands than Pearl Jam and I like Pearl Jam.

and am I the only one who think the Grateful Dead and Kiss are 2 of the most overrated bands? I like some of their stuff but they should never be in the talks when ranking "great" bands.
