When it comes to a lot of child support/alimony/custody rulings, it is. I do think ANY man who fathers a child needs to step up and take care of their kids, but often, women are given more than they need or deserve and are always given the benefit of the doubt and preference just because they are the mother.
I know of mothers who refuse to work or even take care of their kids properly while the father has to literally go broke taking care of the deadbeat MOTHER who, by judge's orders.
It's insane how much of a bias towards the mothers are given in courts. Yes, the mothers are usually better caretakers/nurturers but 9/10 times, the man just has to shut up and follow orders no matter how much better of a guardian and provider he would be...just because the mothers get their way in court.
Sure Deion makes millions, but it doesn't cost THAT much to support a child. The mother should get a reasonable amount, which $40K a month is not.
