I never said a 7th rounder is high risk. Frankly I wouldn't have cared if they gave up a 7th rounder for him, but to criticize them for passing on him is silly. Criticize them for the Brunell move or giving up too much for Portis, but blasting them for passing on a WR in the supplemental draft is ridiculous.

If this kid has some much potential why weren't teams falling over themselves to grab him?

Nobody in the entire league was willing to give up even a 7th rounder for him, and only 4 teams showed interest after the supplemental draft was over.

Maybe everyone is missing the boat on this kid, maybe he's the next TO, somehow I doubt it though. He's definitely a project and no quick fix to our WR corps.

Kinda funny you say we waste draft picks, but then you want them to throw a pick on a kid who hasn't played football in 3 years.
