You know, I think we've built a team to do just that... go toe to toe with the eagles. Its not like they killed us last year. Most of our losses came down to lacking one more play, or when we'd make the play, we'd get a horrible call. Pass interference against Eagles, Illegal motion on that TD against GB. I believe we would've won that game if we scored, but its just disheartening when a call comes like that on a scoring play, and we weren't mature enough yet as a group to overcome and make another play.

We did put away an offense better than the eagles when we played the Vikings, and at the beginning of that game, the Vikes thought they were playing for the playoffs. The Eagles defense is extremely overrated, and I think we'll be able to run all overthem if we can bounce portis to the outside without having him wait for pulling linemen to block for him.

I understand about getting disappointed every year after a big build-up of excitement every single offseason. We've all felt it, but for me, I love this team like I love my kid. No matter what they throw at me, I can't bring myself to expect anything less than greatness.
