As of right now, to say that we are going to be much better than 8-8 is nuts and I agree with you, I wouldn't be surprised if we ended up there. The reason is, this year is going to be a crap shoot, we have to many unproven components. The Skins biggest opponent this year is the Skins.

• Moss, Patten, Jacobs? They are unproven.
• I love Patrick, I really do, but he is unproven. Remeber he is our leader.
• Our Defense, as good as we were last year, and as underated as we are, we are unproven, reason being you can't call a defensive unit great after one year, take a look at dallas.
• Gibbs, who I worship, unfortuanately, so far, is unproven in this second tour of duty.
• Are fans are great BUT we have ZERO home field advantage
• We have the second best team in the NFL in our division.
• Nobody knows if the changes in run blocking schemes will work

Way to many questions to say we are going to be better than 8-8. I hate to say it, but our team as a whole is a giant question mark.

i'm sure i said it last season and every season for the last 10 years that we finally have what it takes. And i'm sure i'll say it every year until the day I die, but to me, even with the question marks and unproven issues, i think we have as real a shot this season as the Chargers did last season. Talk about a team under the radar. This season we finally are getting no credit from the media whatsoever. Not even a glimmer of hope, and that's what excites me the most.
