There is nothing to applaud about this guy. It's one thing to be against abortion and back it with your beliefs but it's another to be a member of House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology and say dumb shit like:

Maybe a scientific experiment on rape and pregnancy should be conducted using his daughter as a test subject.
