its a good deal for them and we got more than a case of beer, BUT we could have gotten a 4th rounder for him before the draft and released barrow before the 2005 season too so its still a FO blunder, just with a partial recovery.
The $2 million they are paying is his base salary. It sounds like we aren't paying out any money (or a negligible amount, if we are) other than the bonus monies he has already received.

I don't think anyone expected signing bonus to be refunded - and even if it was, I don't think it could be applied to the cap.
