It's not like the defense of talent like some fans would like to believe- Josh Wilson, Kerrigan, Bowen, Cofield, Fletcher. Not to mention the potential that the younger defensive players have and have even shown. Don't tell me that a good defensive coordinator couldn't get way more out of this group than Haslett.
They probably would. We've had top 10 defenses in all but two years from 2002-2009. (2003 and 2006 being the only times we fell outside the top 10). We've already matched it since Haslet came and are on pace to fall outside the top 10 for the third straight year.

The defensive front is better then ever even with the injuries. I know the secondary sucks but this is a league where dominant Super Bowl winning defenses have masked weak secondaries multiple times with strong front 7's. Then again Morris is in charge of the secondary and the secondary has been the achilies heal of the defense so not sure if he'll be much better.
