Re: Should Billy Cundiff still be cut!
I would be severely disappointed if we cut Cundiff based on Sundays performance. Everyone can have a "bad day". NFL kickers are no different. Just an inch off his mark on the ball or a slight shift on his approach can make for a "really bad day", like we observed on Sunday. However, he is a professional, so I expect him to bounce back and be consistent once more.
I also believe the Skins chose Cundiff because they expected the offense to be much improved under RGIII. They preferred the consistency of Cundiffs short and mid range kicks than the others kickers semi consistent all around kicking. Based on that idea, Cundiff is on a very short leash if continues to have "bad days".
