He was a leader, and he was always smiling and upbeat last year. He's being broken there now under expectations and pressure because the team can't play at a higher level.

Robert looked genuinely hurt to me by this loss, almost quizzical, like "what else can I do?" He has to feel let down by the way this season is going. Especially considering his high level of play. Shanahan has done a bad job, in my honest opinion, of giving him a strong supporting cast with an attitude, and he's had 3 years to do so. Not halfway into his rookie season, and already it's all on his shoulders. Winning is a mindset, and that comes from the top.

It must be so hard for him not to say "I can't play defense too"
