It still is. The talent has been addressed on the offensive side of the ball and it shows. There still is a vast number of holes to fill on the defensive side of the ball. Mike inherited a old team with little to no depth. Add a restrictive FA, Lockout, and capgate and it doesn't help matters one bit.

I'll stand steady on my thinking that Haslett was a bad hire to begin with. Why hire a man who doesn't want to run the scheme, nor has he ran it in a decade. Was he turned down that many times by DCs?

Miami won their division Sporanos first year and then fell flat on its face. Having a anomaly season isn't being better, it just means it was a fluke. Also, I don't quite call a 3-3 team a playoff team. Mind you, they were handed one of those wins by San Diego, AND they play in the horrible AFC West. Denver isn't better since firing Shanahan. Not by a long shot.
