Mentor and guide to Patrick and Jason--not a bad move. Plus, he's played against current defenses, so that input has to help.

He's not a vital cog, as far as I can tell, but another set of eyes, and a good team player to help out.

People have made more of his presence in the media than it deserved, I think. Like, "Musgrave brought in to fix Gibbs O, etc." I think he's the QB coach--he's worked with some good ones, so why not.
