If we are constantly in passing situations b/c our defense is giving up big plays and we need to score quick, Griffin is going to be exposed more often. How about a D that gets the other team off the field, lets Griffin hand the ball to Morris and take the occasional deep strike. Sounds to me like a good plan to keeping him from taking hits.
It's the complete team that matters.
