Very well could be. Like Smoot mentioned, the whole process is so secretive that it's hard to know without the league,team or player commenting and that's very unlikely to happen. It was just a random thought that popped in my head. He very well may have been notified a week or so after he got back. Who really knows.... just random shit popping in my head.
