I think our next big step is making the right decisions during the offseason to make sure that we can sustain our success. I can think of teams like the Eagles and Jets, who both had previous success yet they made some terrible decisions in the offseason that led them to their current situation.
In terms of the Shanaplan, I think he had his set of bad decisions (McNabb, the whole Haynesworth fiasco), but Shanny has done very well this season despite the setbacks we've had (injuries/suspensions).
The challenge for this team from the top down will be to sustain this success and carry it into next season. For Shanny and BA, the challenge will be to find the right pieces to make our defense consistently successful, and to maintain the success of the offense.
