As a parent who drops kids off ... I am sure more than one parent was in hurry mode that morning. Maybe even losing patience and giving their kid the "Come on, come on ... move it" w/out even thinking about it.
I can't change what happened but it is my sincere hope that each of the parents got the opportunity to say good-bye and give their child a hug that morning. It's not much of a wish, but one I hope is true nonetheless.
I swear, I cannot think of this tragedy without tearing up. My daughter turns six in a month. I can't look at the pictures of the murdered kids b/c I would see her in every picture.
