I don't know the inner workings, but I suspect that BA has some influence, maybe just enough to limit him. plus I trust allen is a redskin at heart, shanny is a coach first and foremost. doesn't mean squat if BA can't do his job, but obviously he can, so his heart can matter.
MS just wasn't a good gm in denver, no reason to think he would be here.
