They both said versions of 'as a result of this, he may miss most of the 2013 season and may be injured for his entire career and we will never know what could have been.' Really? It's a f*%#ing knee injury, not a leg amputation! I actually got into a mild back and forth with Douglas on Twitter and he admitted that he gets paid to speculate on those things. So you get paid to spout ill informed, made up bullsh*t, well done.
Then I see later some DC radio talking head said that "just to be safe" the Redskins shouldn't bring him back AT ALL in 2013 and let him be fully healthy in 2014 for the future. That would be 21 months for a 8 month injury. This stuff drives me nuts because I have a very low tolerance threshold for idiots.
I'm going to have to disconnect from all of the offseason stuff regarding the Redskins (free agency, draft, schedule, leading up to training camp) because I can't take listening to people who either don't know what the F they are talking about or those who say things for the sake of speculative conversation.

You would think RG3 was the first player to ever get injured. It's amazing all the hoopla this story has generated. Is there cause for some concern, of course, but some of this stuff is just beyond ridiculous.
The problem is there's people out there that get paid to talk, and they love to stir the pot and create hysteria amongst the masses. No matter when RG3 comes back, there will be those questioning whether it's too early. Facts be damned, shit sells.
