After he's received all that guaranteed money there's no money they HAVE to have on the books. ...and what if Flacco isn't performing well enough to warrant more "guaranteed" money of that magnitude. That 55 million still has to be accounted for, and that's the money I'm referring to. They'd still be missing 18.5 mil from that 55 million over the first 3 years. Now, if he's playing well, sure you restructure with more guaranteed money. If he's not, he's gone and you still have to eat 18.5mil.
