JLC from Today's Redskins Mini Camp

Actually, it's not JLC but Paul Tenorio. But the title would get to the point.

Damn it's good to hear about some actual football. It's been a while.

Gotta love Zorn's enthusiasm already. I think he's going to bring a new level of energy to the team and they should feed off that.

Yeah, I hope so. I gotta admit, I've been sour over the Gregg Williams thing for a long time but think I'm finaly letting it go.

I'm ready to root for Zorn.

Its good to hear Jansen is 100% and has no problems with his leg. Lets hope it stays that way.

Its also nice to read a post on RI without the pessimistic views and front office bashing that often fills the pages when JLC is reporting.

I think it's going to be a good vibe this year. This city is really excited about all of its teams, but nothing tops when the Skins are winning. Nothing.

I just can't see us getting all of those flukey injuries we've had the past couple of years.

I may have missed it, but I didn't really see if he mentioned how Jason Campbell looked, if his knee seemed fully healed

JC was cleared medically a few months ago so he should be 100% now.

True. I was just curious about how sharp he looked. Or if he experienced any discomfort

Arnt you part of the Mix Cult, you have him as your #3 wr come opening day.

I must admit I am part of it too. The kid just knows how to finish plays, ask Zorn. j/k

Lol, yes I am the leader of the Mix cult. Actually no, that opening day roster was in no particular order, though I will admit starters came to mind first when I was going through the list of players in my mind. Also I wouldn't have even included Mix in that lineup if it wasn't for this article.

Which reminds me, please join the church of Anthony Mix. We wear back backs and knock on your door until you join. Plus in this group you can have multiple wives.

The pm review, from the Redskin Insider blog:

Redskins Insider

Let's Review, Shall We?

Here's Jim Zorn's pocket review of the day, from Jason Reid:

After opening minicamp with a good practice, the Redskins were not as impressive in the afternoon session, Zorn said.
"Very crisp this morning. Not as crisp this afternoon," he said. "What we did is, we put in a whole other load of plays. We stretched everybody again, especially on offense, mentally, because we put in new plays with new techniques and we didn't execute them as well.
"The defense again put in their defensive coverages and played much tougher. We kind of got it handed to us on offense, but I was very excited about what the defense did this afternoon."
It takes time to install a new offense, Zorn said.
"I would say be the end of this they [offensive players] will have learned 65-70 percent of what we are going to try to do," he said. "We haven't talked about the multiple personnel groups and formations, but maybe 65 percent of what is going to be going in."
