I got an Art Monk Jersey!
May I add.....CHEAP!
I picked it up cheap at eBay because it was mis-labled and so less than average numbers of folks saw it to bid on it. It was under RESKINS not REDSKINS. I got a "Players of the Century" White, ALL Stitched Numbers and letters #81 Art Monk jersey for.......$36.00. $45 after shipping. YES!!! I'll be wearing it when they induct Art into the HOF this year I hope. Viva le Monk!

Re: I got an Art Monk Jersey!
Why does hardly anyone have M jerseys? Do they assume people are going to be putting these over pads?

Not sure bro. You can't hardly find a Large. I'm ok with an XL because I'll wear it in the fall and winter so I'll have a sweatshirt on underneith most likely.
Maybe the Meds and Larges sell in stores and these make it whole saled out to ebay sellers. Not sure

Re: I got an Art Monk Jersey!
Stiched on numbers but this is not an original type jersey. The Redskins never wore the thin color banned arms in the 80's. I guess I just don't understand the reason for buying a jersey of a past player that does not even look like an original. If you like the true old ones might I suggest a Mitchell & Ness.

Re: I got an Art Monk Jersey!
Where do these Player of the Century jerseys come from anyway?
I see them all over EBay. Obviously they're not officially licensed, does someone just make these in their basement or something?? I've got a Doug Williams M&N jersey, sometimes you can find good deals on them. |

I also have one of these beauties http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1. I got it because it doesn't have air holes on it and signatures look great on it. I have about 20 or so autographs on it. I didn't get mine for nearly that much though. I got it for under $40 and if i remember correctly it was $37 including shipping. |

LOL I definitely have an axe to grind against those jerseys for some odd reason.

Re: I got an Art Monk Jersey!
I went somewhat ghetto for my Monk jersey last year. I ordered it off of NFLshop.com because I couldn't find one I liked on eBay. I ordered a personalized jersey with Monk and #81.
The only problem, and I could be the only one to notice this because I'm a big loser, is that the lettering is slightly different than a normal jersey. The M and the O are more rounded and not the typical boxed letters. But at least I've got it, so it's all good. MONK TO H.O.F.
