OK... take a look at this:

Sam Baugh signed Throwback Jersey Redskins Sammy Baugh - (eBay item 220148999158 end time Sep-17-07 19:07:10 PDT)

Everything looks good on it... right???? I thought Sammy had been in a nursing home for several years and has not done a signing for 2 or 3 years??? 2006???? this guy sounds fishy.

His last private signing acording to Autograph Signings - SigningsHotline.com was in July of 04

He's in not able to sign and has not done so for at least a few years.
The seller has a good rating and if you get the jersy cheap it may be worth it. Sounds a tad fishy but email the guy and ask for details about when and where he actually signed the jersey.

IF your purchase this jersey...look at it CLOSE... if you notice, the one in the picture has the Mitchell & Ness tags in the collar (proper placement)... but his listing says nothing about Mitchell & Ness. Remember, alot of fake M&N have the tag sewn where the collar meets the jersey... not down lower in the body like it is supposed to be. Also, alot of fakes have the collar tags only sewn on the sides... where the real collar tags are sewn on all 4.

Also notice that he says the jersey is a size 58... M&N does not make a size 58... that is always a big indication of fakes..... I would be VERY surprised if the jersey you receive is the one in the picture with Sammy.

By pointing out the errors with the dates, and the fact that his pictures shows real m&n and the size is a fake ( Mitchell & Ness Nostalgia Company, purveyors of fine sporting goods and apparel since 1904. Featuring M&N's throwback jerseys from the NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL. )... it would strongly indicate he just "stole" the picture from a legitimate signing and is posting it on Ebay as his own.

If you notice the close up picture of the autograph... on the lower left hand side there is a hologram from onlinecoa... when I emailed the seller and asked him who was the authenticator he said:

no one, i had the item signed at his house in texas
