Re: Lavar Gone
Yea he bought his free agency. It's gonna be tough to see him go but we will only miss his name, in that the defense will still be strong, as it was last year, without him. This is good for the team in terms of the cap and free agent and draft picks signings. Gonna miss you LaVar!!

Extremeskins 'press release'
ASHBURN, VA – Three-time Pro Bowler LaVar Arrington of the Washington Redskins has reached an agreement with the team, with the assistance of his agents Carl and Kevin Poston, to become a free agent and provide the Redskins with much-needed salary cap relief. Head Coach Joe Gibbs will be available to the media at noon Monday, March 5 in the media room at Redskins Park. |

Re: Lavar Gone
Could this be a loop hole in getting under the cap for them to release him and sign him back to a contract that benefits him as well as the team? Not sure the #'s or the legality of that. This was done extremely quiet and if it was on bad terms someone would have spouted off and made this into a Laverneus Coles deal where Snyder told him to watch it on his plasma or restructure. Maybe for once though it is as simple as it sounds and the best for both sides.

Re: Lavar Gone
Anyone notice that when you anagramize the name LaVar Arrington you get "Raving Oral Rant"

Re: Lavar Gone
nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooo. Lavar was most definitely my favorite player in the entire NFL. This makes me horribly upset, but if this is true, then i wish him the most luck elsewhere and i hope he returns to top form again. God this day has sucked, all these free agency extensions and whatnot, and now this.
