Personally I wish all ex Redskins good luck....As long as they aren't playing the skins... Smoot was a likeable guy and played very well here ...I wish him luck, I wish Ramsey luck I wish Lavar luck I wish Frerotte luck... Steven Davis...all Ex REdskins that provided me so many thrills while they were here...

As far as Smoot, he does need work on his tackling skills. I still think he is a very good 2nd corner. Sure he got embarassed a couple games last season, but if i'm not mistaken, wasn't he injured for more than half the season?

I understand what you mean when comes to the tackling of Smoot, but let's look at the facts. Smoot had more INT's than Champ Bailey for three years consecutively. 5, 5, and 3 respectively. Smoot looks up to Deion Sanders who couldn't and wouldn't tackle on coverage, but Sanders is considered one of the greatest CB's in NFL history. I prefer Darrell Green, but that's my biased opinion. Smoot is one of the best CB's in the league. That's why when Steve Smith and Chad Johnson are matched against him and burn him it's a big deal. Smoot is better than any CB the Giant's have had in the last five years.
