America's Team Messageboard

Hello Redskin fans from Dallas. Tonight is a game that will tell us all who is going here. Starting 0-2 will not do for us or you but the Redskins come in limping while the Cowboys have everyone like T.O. and Bledsoe I think will redeem himself..

anyway here is to I hope a great win and not a total domination of the Redskins because I prefer the torture method for the Redskins..

other notes-I pick the Giants to beat Philly..

On this board I have NFL make the picks and there will be a small prize in form of that winners favorite team whatever..

TO has never done anything really spectacular against us and as far as bledsoe...he is a has been. Your best qb is sitting on the bench.

Owens does not have to catch 12 passes for 200 yards and 3 TD's to be a factor. Yes the Redskins have always kept him in check when he was playing in Philly. But what was your record versus Philly when he was playing there?

He has to be accounted for on the field all the time. His presence will force the safeties to stay back in coverage more. He cannot be covered one-on-one. So double cover Owens and Glenn will burn you.

I think his presence will force Washington to keep 2 safeties off the LOS, this will keep 7 defenders "in the box", and will put a LB in coverage on Witten.

I think Witten will have a good game tonight because of this.

our record doesnt mean anything...we were 6-10 that year and the eagles went to the super bowl...we would have lost even if they didnt have T.O.

and all we have to do is pressure bledsoe, and owens and glenn are stopped

Re: America's Team Messageboard

To be honest, T.O. does scare me right now. Bledsoe sucks, but T.O. can create separation very well. With Springs still out, Archuleta not looking like he is "getting it", and Taylor not making smart decisions, T.O. could have a monster day.
The Redskins just aren't where they should be right now, offensively or defensively. If Dallas loses to us tonight, Dallas very well could come in last place in the east. I don't think the Skins will embrace this offense for another 3 weeks or so, so whoever doesn't take advantage of that is skrewed.

Glenn will burn you?...took a flea flicker for her to beat us last year. But she might have a decent game tonight.

Re: America's Team Messageboard

Then we are in trouble if we have T.O. , Glenn, Witten and Bledsoe is on his back the O.L. will be the weakest link but if the O.L. is not, then Redskins, you will be looking at 0-2 and a harder time to even get to .500..

We shall see tonight..

There's now point of talking BS game day. Win or lose we'll still be here...see you after the game.

Re: America's Team Messageboard

the stuff about TO and Glenn is true, but I think we can all agree that in this series a lot of the conventional wisdom goes out the window. There have been times when the boys sucked and beat us and vice versa. Gibbs will hopefully have the team fired up. They'll need a lot of emotion to overcome some of the injuries.
